Pilbara Ports Authority is a WA State Government owned entity responsible for the operation and development of Port of Port Hedland and Port of Dampier. The company generates revenue from the export and import of bulk commodities, particularly iron ore, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Pilbara Ports Authority is headquartered in West Perth.

Port of Port Hedland and Port of Dampier amalgamated in July 2014.

Pilbara Ports Authority maintains and operates various facilities including channel and turning basin, navigation aids, berths, ship-loaders, tug havens, storage areas and utilities. The Port Authority caters mainly to the shipping and trade of minerals mined in the Eastern Pilbara region of Western Australia. The Port Authority also oversees the development and the protection of the environment of the port.
