Abacus Property Group is an Australian public listed entity that offers property investment and funds management opportunities as well as property financing solutions to its clients. The group operates predominantly in Australia and is headquartered in Sydney.

Abacus Property Group trades on the ASX as a stapled security under the ticker symbol ABP. The security consists of a share in Abacus Group Holdings Limited, a share in Abacus Group Projects Limited and a share in Abacus Storage Operations Limited stapled to a unit in Abacus Trust, a unit in Abacus Income Trust and a unit in Abacus Storage Property Trust.

Abacus Property Group is a specialist investor in property-based assets, principally in Australia.

The Group's investing portfolio is divided into the following categories:

  • Office - The company manages and owns a $490 million portfolio of office space. The portfolio includes office spaces in Sydney CBD, Melbourne CBD and Brisbane CBD. There are also assets in Canberra and Adelaide.
  • Storage - The company manages and owns a $514 million storage space. The portfolio includes spaces in Australia’s east coast and New Zealand.
  • Retail - The company manages and owns a $375 million portfolio of retail shopping centres. The retail portfolio includes metropolitan trading areas in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
  • Industrial - The company manages and owns a $111 million industrial portfolio that focuses on transport hubs in Victoria and Queensland. It recently sold its New South Wales assets. 

The Group's also has operations that include:

  • Funds Management - Offers a range of investment opportunities such as income funds, property trusts, mezzanine funds, development syndicates and pre-sales agreements.
  • Property Finance - Provides financing for development projects and property-based investment opportunities including structured equity participation, mezzanine finance and pre-sales agreements.
  • Joint venture & Developments - Participates in direct and indirect property investments through joint ventures which enable the Group to combine its own expertise with local or specialist property expertise.
