  • Lihir Operations - A gold deposit mine located on Aniolam Island in the New Ireland Province of Papua New Guinea (PNG), 900km north-east of Port Moresby and is 100% owned by Lihir Gold Limited.
     
  • Bonikro Operations - A gold deposit mine located in Cote d'Ivoire, West Africa, and is owned and operated by LGL Mines CI SA, of which Newcrest has an 89.89% interest. The open-pit mine produces gold doré and is located 250km north-west of Abidjan.
     
  • Gosowong Operations - A gold and silver deposit mine located on Halmahera Island in the North Maluku Province of the Republic of Indonesia, located approximately 2,450km north east of Jakarta. The mine is owned and operated by PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals (PTNHM), of which Newcrest has a 75% interest, and produces gold and silver doré.

Newcrest Mining Limited also has exploratory mining operations for gold and gold-copper deposits in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, New Zealand, Nicaragua and the Ivory Coast. Along with this, the company has a focus on mining and processing technology in order to innovate and develop metallurgical processes.
