The purpose of the joint venture is to mine and export magnetite. The mine is expected to operate between 14 and 30 years and is forecast to produce 10 million tonnes of premium magnetite concentrate annually. Grange Resources has an ownership interest of 70% in the operation, and SRT Australia Pty Ltd has a 30% ownership interest in the operation.
