Overview

UnitingCare Queensland is an unincorporated, not-for-profit organisation established by the Uniting Church in Australia. The organisation, which employs over 13,340 people, provides health and community services to people in QLD, the NT and Northern NSW. UnitingCare Queensland is administered from its head office in Brisbane.

UnitingCare Queensland provides health and community services through four main organisations:

  • UnitingCare Community - 24-hour telephone crisis support for suicide intervention, community recovery, mediation, counselling, domestic violence support, disability support and out-of-home care support.
  • UnitingCare Health - A network of private, not-for-profit hospitals. This division includes The Wesley and St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospitals, The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital and St Stephen’s Hospital.
  • Blue Care - Residential aged care, community care and retirement living across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
  • Australian Regional and Remote Community Services (ARRCS) - Aged care and community services in the Northern Territory.
