The Westpac Group divides its operations into the following five primary operating divisions:

 

Consumer Bank:

The Consumer Bank provides the sale and service of banking and financial services and products for Australian consumers under the following brands: Westpac, Bank of Melbourne, BankSA, RAMS and St George.

 

Business Bank:

The Business Bank provides the sales and service of banking and financial services and products to micro entities, small to medium enterprises and commercial businesses up to approximately $150 million.

The Business Bank brands include Westpac, St.George, Bank of Melbourne, BankSA brands and Capital Finance.

 

Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB):

Westpac Institutional Bank services the financial needs of corporations, institutions, and government customers operating in Australia and New Zealand. The segment provides specialized service and advice in the areas of financial and debt capital markets, corporate and structured finance, and transaction banking. WIB customers are serviced through branches in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Asia, the United States, Fiji, and Papua New Guinea.

 

Westpac New Zealand:

Westpac New Zealand offers a range of retail banking services, commercial banking, and insurance products to consumer, business and institutional customers. Westpac operates via an extensive network of branches and ATMs across the North and South Islands.  Westpac brands include insurance providers Westpac Life New Zealand and BT New Zealand, as well as institutional bankers Westpac New Zealand Limited and Westpac Banking Corporation.  

 

BT Financial Group:

BT Financial Group is Westpac's wealth management division and also includes St George Bank's wealth management division. BT Financial's operations include investment and superannuation products, private banking, financial planning services as well as life, general, lenders mortgage and bonds insurance.

BT Financial's brands include Advance Asset Management, Ascalon, BT,  and the private banking, advice, and insurance operations of BankSA, Bank of Melbourne, St.George and Westpac.
