Transpower New Zealand Limited is a New Zealand government owned company, engaged in the ownership and operation of New Zealand's high-voltage electricity transmission network. The company operates throughout New Zealand, and is administered by its head office in Wellington.

Transpower New Zealand Limited owns and operates the national grid that delivers electricity throughout New Zealand. The national grid is made up of approximately 12,000 kilometres of transmission lines and over 170 substations.

Transpower also operates the real-time power system and the wholesale electricity market, and works in conjunction with the Electricity Authority to promote competition in the sector. Transpower is currently involved in the following projects as a system operator:
