Other major projects include the Otway Gas Project in Victoria and the Ironbark Project in Queensland. The company is also a retailer of electricity, natural gas and LPG, supplying consumers in Australia, New Zealand and around the Pacific. Origin is involved in electricity trading, buying and selling electricity on the National Electricity Market.
  • Exploration & Production
    Origin Energy has a portfolio of six power stations as well as interests in a portfolio of cogeneration plants. The company also operates wind farms and invests in renewable energy, including research and development of geothermal and solar technologies. 
     
  • Australia Pacific LNG
    The company has a 37.5% investment in Australia Pacific LNG, a producer and supplier of coal seam gas to domestic markets and liquefied natural gas for export. Origin Energy is partnered with American coal seam gas operator ConocoPhillips and Chinese energy company Sinodec on this project.
