Overview

Macquarie University is a New South Wales State Government-owned university which generates its revenue from the provision of higher education in Australia. The University employs approximately 3,200 full-time equivalent staff and is administered from Macquarie University's main campus located in North Ryde, New South Wales.

Macquarie University has over 40,000 students studying annually, and provides undergraduate and postgraduate studies through the following faculties:

  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Business and Economics
  • Faculty of Human Sciences
  • Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences
  • Faculty of Science and Engineering

Macquarie University also operates the Macquarie Applied Finance Centre, the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, and the Macquarie University International College.
