Overview

Deakin University is a state government tertiary education institution. The university employs approximately 4,000 staff and has over 50,000 students. Deakin University has four campuses located across Victoria, and is administered from the main campus in Burwood.

Deakin University's courses are offered under its four faculties:

  • Faculty of Arts and Education
  • Faculty of Health
  • Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment
  • Faculty of Business and Law

Undergraduate and postgraduate studies in these disciplines are available in the form of bachelor degrees, postgraduate diplomas and certificates, master degrees and doctorates. The university operates four campuses across Victoria: Burwood, Geelong Waurn Ponds, Geelong Waterfront and Warrnambool.
