The corporation manages and maintains a rail network of over 8,500km which spams across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, Queensland and New South Wales, with its main customers operating trains for passenger and freight use. ARTC is responsible for the management of the Hunter Valley coal rail network and New South Wales-based regional rail links.
