The Victorian Arts Centre Trust is a state-owned entity that is responsible for the operation and programming of the performing arts spaces that make up the Victorian Arts Centre. The trust employs approximately 240 full-time equivalent staff and is headquartered in Melbourne.

The Victorian Arts Centre Trust manages, operates and promotes a range of theatrical and visual arts performances. Venues currently managed by the trust include:

  • Fairfax Studio - A 376 seat venue for dramatic performances.
  • Hamer Hall - The Art Centre's largest concert venue, hosting performances across all music genres.
  • Playhouse - A specially designed venue for dramatic performance, seating 884 people and home to the Art Centres Aboriginal artwork collection in the foyer.
  • Sidney Myer Music Bowl - Located in Kings Domain Gardens, hosts outdoor concerts and performances, notably Summerdayze and Carols by Candlelight.
  • State Theatre - The Art Centre's theatre, providing a venue primarily for theatrical performances.
