The University of Western Australia is a government-owned higher education institution in Western Australia. The university operates the following campuses:

Crawley - The main campus of the university. The university colleges are just north of the campus, which is just outside the Perth CBD.
Claremont - Purchased by the university on 2004. Now houses several university institutes including The Australian Music Examination Board, the Confucius Institute, the Centre for Muslim States and Societies, Taylor's College and the International Skills and Training Institute in Health.
Albany - Operating since 1999, this campus lies in Albany, around 400km south of Perth. Three programs are offered at the Albany campus: Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science (Restoration Ecology) and, in a partnership with Curtin University, a Bachelor of Education (Primary/Early Childhood Teaching).

The university also runs the UWA Sports Park. Located in Mt Claremont, just west of Pert, this facility is a centre for the development of young Australian athletes, and houses several sports clubs and facilities.
