Territory Insurance Office (TIO) is a Northern Territory Government-owned banking and insurance provider. The Group is administrated from its head office in Darwin, has offices across the Northern Territory. It offers savings accounts, loans and insurance services and administers the Territory Government's Motor Accidents Compensation Scheme and the HomeNorth Scheme.

TIO operates three main businesses:

Banking - Provides savings, credit cards, home loans, personal loans, commercial loans financial planning, transaction, and investment accounts.

Insurance - Provides personal insurance and business insurance. Personal insurance products include home and contents, motor vehicles, boats, income protection, life insurance, total/permanent disability insurance, trauma, and mortgage protection. Business insurance products includes workers' compensation. TIO also provides insurance cover for cyclones, storms and floods.

Motor Accidents Compensation Scheme - TIO is an administrator of the Northern Territory Government's no fault motor vehicle accident compensation scheme. This scheme provides road users (including drivers, cyclists and pedestrians) with compensation if injured in a motor vehicle accident.
