  • NCIG Coal Terminal: a terminal located at the Newcastle Port. Construction began in 2007 and the first shipment was loaded in March 2010. The final capacity of the terminal is 66 million tonnes per annuum. Yancoal's subsidiary Felix Resources is one of six companies involved in the project.
  • Ultra Clean Coal Project: a process for producing chemically cleaned coal that is used in gas turbines to create electricity with high efficiencies than through traditional coal fired power stations. The pilot plant is based in Cessnock, NSW in the Hunter Valley region.
  • Wiggins Island Coal Terminal: a joint effort amongst 8 coal companies to develop a coal export terminal in Gladstone.

 

  • Cameby Downs Mine, an open-cut thermal coal mine in Queensland and Premier Coal, an open-cut coal mine located in the Collie Coal Basin in Western Australia are both managed by Yancoal Australia on behalf of its majority shareholder, Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Ltd.
